Safe Streets for All: Funding Strategies that Work

March 19, 2024 | 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm | Eastern Time

The third round of the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program has been announced and aims to support the Vision Zero goal set by the National Roadway Safety Strategy. In this webinar, we’ll discuss the most important opportunities we see in the grant program, including ways to test new concepts, build greater support for safety changes and support your community’s long-term investment in safety and equity on our streets.

We invite communities of all sizes and types, including rural, suburban, urban, and tribal lands, to join us. Don't miss this opportunity to gain fresh ideas and strategies to make effective and equitable roadway safety improvements in your community.

We’ll be joined by Shayna Rose, Towards Zero Manager at Baltimore City DOT – the city has secured almost $10M for supplemental planning and demonstration projects; and Franz Loewenherz, Mobility Planning and Solutions Manager at City of Bellevue.

NOTE: This is not a “How-to-apply” session. We encourage you to check out the USDOT’s SS4A webinar series and important overview of the SS4A program and grant application process here before joining our event.
